OUR STORY
Hello there! I'm Kristen Van Ede - owner and creative hands at Twig and Bloom Floral Design.

I have always loved flowers. I am fascinated by the colours, the textures and the smells. There is something nostalgic and romantic about working, giving and receiving flowers. Perhaps it's their ability to communicate emotion without necessarily speaking words, or perhaps it's the simple pleasure of seeing a beautiful bouquet come to life.

Growing up, I took many a turn about the garden with my Nona. She would spend hours (probably too many) working the soil and tending to the beautiful blooms to ensure their longevity. I learnt so much from her.
​
I guess in many ways, Twig and Bloom Floral Design is a homage to her, a way to honour how much she loved her flowers (in particular, roses) and a way to reflect on the times that I was able to spend time with her admiring them. Similarly, we hope that you will take the time to admire our floral designs.

My little team and I offer a whole range of services including dried flower delivery for all occasions via our online store, weekend flower delivery, corporate events, weddings and private events.
